Victoria Monét
Multi-hyphenate superstar Victoria Monét has been stealthily— and steadily— trailblazing her own gilded path in music for over a decade. With the ever-growing title of singer-songwriter-producer-performer, the Grammy-nominated Sacramento native has effectively adorned herself with the ability to defy all labels. Monét began her career as a performing artist who expanded her repertoire into producer and songwriter by collaborating on several chart-topping projects alongside acclaimed artists such as Ariana Grande, Fifth Harmony, Chloe x Halle, BLACKPINK, Selena Gomez, and more. After independently releasing her critically acclaimed solo project JAGUAR in 2020, Monét cemented her role as one of the most anticipated acts in R&B in recent years. With the project landing the #1 spot on iTunes R&B album charts in 66 countries on release day, #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart, #20 on Billboard's R&B Albums chart, and garnering praise from NPR, Pitchfork, Billboard, MTV, The FADER, Hypebeast, and more, it’s safe to say Monét has catapulted her solo-career into stardom. After receiving two Soul Train Award nominations at the end of 2020, Monét kicked off 2021 with the release of two effervescent singles “F.U.C.K” and “Coastin”— which quickly amassed millions of streams and caught the attention of Billboard, Uproxx, The Fader, and more. In 2022, Monét stunned during her first festival performance at Day n’ Vegas which led to other festival performances at Sol Blume and Made In America— with Hot97 deeming the M.I.A. performance proof of a “legend in the making”. In 2023, Monét delivered a steamy Valentine’s Day duet with Bryson Tiller titled, “We Might Even Be Falling In Love (Duet)” via Spotify - an extension of the interlude she introduced fans to on JAGUAR. Monét began giving fans glimpses into what’s to come on her sophomore album, JAGUAR II - with new singles “Smoke” ft. Grammy winner Lucky Daye, “Party Girls” ft. Buju Banton, and “On My Mama” - which amassed 6.1 million streams in the first
3 weeks of its release. Victoria Monét is on track to experience the most exciting year of her career yet. With her first Los Angeles headlining show selling out in just one minute, and the release of JAGUAR II set to debut August 2023, Monét is preparing to solidify herself as a true household name.
