"My dad, who always encouraged us to pursue our passions, bought me a starter guitar,” she says. “And I literally never stopped.” She taught herself to play guitar using YouTube tutorials, and after a year or so, introduced herself as a songwriter at her high school open mic nights. Confidence bolstered by a positive reception, Bella continued writing songs that channeled the sadness, frustration, and pleasures of her life. By the end of her first year of college, Bella found herself at a crossroads. Unsure if she wanted to continue pursuing pre-law, she decided to give music a serious shot. “I had so many songs to write after going through a terrible breakup,” she says, noting, wryly, “I got a lot better at guitar.” Throughout the summer of 2025, Bella shared her music on TikTok with increased determination and intention.
